You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our cloud solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices. Your expertise will be pivotal in optimizing our cloud environment for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.**Role & Responsibilities:*** Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on GCP.* Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define cloud architecture and implement best practices.* Automate cloud operations and infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Terragrunt.* Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.* Optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency while maintaining performance and security standards.* Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts for cloud-related issues.* Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.* Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.**Experience & Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.* Proven experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on GCP or AWS.* Strong Kubernetes experience* Proven expertise in designing and managing cloud environments, including compute, storage, networking, and security components.* Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.* Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python or Bash.* In-depth understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).* Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.* Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.**Bullish is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
