Occupational Hygienist Join to apply for the Occupational Hygienist role at TipTopJob (Location: Oxfordshire area, Salary: GBP27,000-35,000 (DOE) + benefits and profit share). Contract: Permanent, Full Time. Start: ASAP. Role Overview Carrying out occupational exposure evaluations for dusts, fibres, VOCs, gases, and a wide range of workplace substances. Producing clear, accurate and insightful written reports. Assisting with noise exposure surveys and LEV assessments (full training provided). Handling client enquiries, preparing quotes and supporting wider business development activity. Frequent travel to client sites across the UK; hybrid working available after full training. What We’re Looking For Essential At least 1 year of experience in occupational or industrial hygiene, including airborne contaminant and noise monitoring. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce technical reports. Solid skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Confidence working with and interpreting large data sets. Understanding of COSHH, EH40 and relevant MDS guidance. Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK. Desirable Membership with BOHS. Degree in Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Science or a related discipline. Awareness of indoor air quality standards (e.g., BREEAM). Experience in LEV testing or supporting commercial enquiry processes. Strong client‑facing skills and ability to work independently. Flexibility to travel and undertake occasional overnight stays.
