Job Details Siamo Group is looking for experienced Class 2 drivers for a client of ours based in Measham. Location: MeashamType: Temp to PermStart ASAPMonday to Friday – No weekends. Pay Rates £15.60 per hour (PAYE only). Rising to £38,600 after 12 weeks. Shift Patterns 06:00 am start; Monday to Friday shifts available. Responsibilities This job entails deliveries and collections of our products/services to and from our customers’ varied locations and our branches. Ensuring all parts of Health and Safety are adhered to, including that the vehicle is loaded securely, all product is handled correctly, and that we meet road transport/traffic legislation standards with any required checks carried out at the appropriate timings. Providing first‑class customer service when delivering to our customer base to ensure they receive a professional, timely and courteous delivery experience. Accountabilities Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses, differing delivery points, and via different routes. Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment and load and reporting any defects. Offer excellent customer service at all times to ensure that our customers receive a great delivery experience. Use any of the IT equipment provided and complete all delivery and collection paperwork/systems accurately and promptly. Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, working well within the transport team. Maintain a good driving record by always driving the vehicle safely and professionally in accordance with the law, including working‑hour rules. Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out to present the proper image. Requirements & Skills Possess an HGV Class 2 licence, valid Driver CPC and DIGI Cards. 1 year checkable Class 2 driving work history. No more than 3 points on the licence for insurance purposes (no BA/CD/CU/DR/DD/IN offences). Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, enthusiastic and resilient. Handballing & strapping involved.
