Cleaner (Part‑Time) – Immediate Start Job Title: CleanerContract: PermanentLocation: Essex County Council, County Hall, Market Road, Chelmsford, Essex, England, CM1 1QH Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hourContractual Hours: 10 per weekWorking Days: Monday to Friday (5:00 pm – 7:00 pm) Mitie is seeking an evening cleaner for one of the Essex County Council buildings. You will work as part of a team but will be responsible for your own area within the building. A supervisor and other cleaners onsite will guide you and provide assistance as needed. Key Responsibilities: Office cleaning tasks: hoovering, dusting, emptying bins, wiping down surfaces. Toilet cleaning: mopping, cleaning toilets and sinks, dusting, emptying bins, wiping surfaces. Kitchen cleaning: mopping or hoovering, dusting, emptying bins, wiping surfaces. Cleaning meeting rooms and offices: hoovering, dusting, emptying bins, wiping down surfaces. Requirements: Experience in cleaning or facilities management is preferred. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Pass a satisfactory DBS check and provide references.
