Overview EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We are looking to recruit a Site Engineer with Earthworks and Drainage experience to join our team based in the Calvert Area. The Site Engineer is responsible on site for other junior engineers and assists in the construction operations for the section of works. You will liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out M&E works activities to the required standards, programme and budget. You will be responsible for working with the other members of the setting out team and for the performance and development of M&E Sub-Contractors, resolving technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub-Agent. This includes specification and coordination of varied contractors and time frames to ensure smooth delivery in a "just in time" fashion. Ensuring that the team have all current information and resources required to carry out their duties, you will assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contribute to financial forecasting.
