Paraplanner 1 position available. Permanent contract. Full‑time. Location: Spinningfields, Manchester City Centre. Our team values technical excellence, personalised service, and compliance‑driven advice. We’re seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our team and support our advisers. We are a rapidly growing firm based in our modern office in Spinningfields, Manchester. This is a strong opportunity in the Wealth Management sector, with the opportunity for development and future progression. As a Paraplanner, you will provide the technical and administrative backbone of the advice process, supporting our advisers with research, analysis, and compliant report production. You’ll play a key role in ensuring clients receive robust, well‑documented financial plans that reflect their goals and satisfy regulatory standards. What you’ll be doing: Produce clear and compliant suitability reports, alongside cash‑flow modelling and supporting documentation for client recommendations. Draft and maintain records relating to drawdown planning, reviews, and associated advice. Work closely with advisers, the support team, compliance, and external providers to ensure smooth case progression and provide technical input when required. Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements, market updates, and internal processes to ensure all advice meets current standards. What we’re looking for: Minimum 1–2+ years of experience working within an SJP Partner Practice. Level 4 Diploma (desirable) with progression toward Chartered status encouraged. Confident user of St. James’s Place advice processes and systems, with strong proficiency in MS Office. Solid technical understanding of pensions, investments, protection, and estate/inheritance planning. High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases to agreed service standards. What we offer: Competitive salary and bonus opportunity.
