BYD Technician

Responsibilities Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on BYD electric vehicles Perform routine maintenance and checks, ensuring all vehicles meet manufacturer standards Diagnose and identify faults and resolve issues efficiently Work in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines Keep up to date with latest product knowledge, technical updates, and training Have the greatest respect for our customers by safeguarding their property against accidental damage or avoidable mess Exceptional attention to detail and documenting and reporting skills Support the team in maintaining the workshop’s high standards of cleanliness and organisation Requirements Previous experience as a vehicle technician; EV experience is desirable but not essential Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repairs Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work Excellent problem‑solving skills and a desire to continually develop professionally Valid, full driving licence Offer Competitive rate of pay, based on experience, with a bonus scheme Training and development opportunities, including specialist BYD training 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays Pension scheme (Company pension) Cycle to work scheme Referral programme Sick pay Riverside Motor Group is an equal‑opportunity employer.
