Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA leading Engineering & Manufacturing company in Bristol is seeking an experienced Production Planner on a contract basis.Key ResponsibilitiesRaise work orders to support the production schedule.Create build files and associated documentation.Arrange kitting and ensure all materials required for build are available.Manage and update work order part lists throughout build and test.Close work orders to inventory and pass to the next stage.Monitor, identify and manage build shortages.Build / Test SupportMonitor and action deviation permits.Work with Build Team Leaders and Lead Technicians to resolve material supply issues.Add additional material requirements to work orders only when justified.Attend pre-shipment meetings when required.Ensure shortages are identified and resolved before moving product to Finished Goods.Maintain accurate updates within the company business system (SID).Process electronic stores requisitions.ECO / Change ManagementImplement design or specification changes to work orders post-kitting.Action BOM updates through the ECO process.Identify WIP requiring rework due to engineering changes and coordinate internal or external rework.Communicate foreseeable plan changes to the Master Scheduler.Support the Planning Team Leader with general enquiries.Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: ContractJob function: Engineering and ManufacturingIndustries: Engineering Services and ManufacturingLocation: Bristol, England, United KingdomReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Mane Contract Services by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
