A permanent role on successful completion of the apprenticeship About the role It is exciting times here at Churchill Retirement Living and due to our bold growth plans we are recruiting for an Apprentice Land Buyer to join the Land team in our South East region based in Byfleet. You will be an integral part of the regional land team, gaining an understanding of the entire process of land acquisition and our requirements within your first few months. You will be responsible for researching towns and taking a proactive approach to identifying suitable land opportunities from a variety of sources. Alongside the Land Buyers and Manager you will visit our target towns, meet with Land Owners and Agents to explore the viability of sites. You will also assist with site appraisals and valuations. Excitingly you have the opportunity to be involved in the whole process and build your knowledge and understanding of Land Acquisitions, seeing your sites progress through the due diligence process to contract exchange and legal completion. Whilst working with us we will fund you through Surveying Technician apprenticeship. To help develop your knowledge of construction and provide the skills you will need to set you up for success, this apprenticeship includes working experience in our Commercial, Design, Technical and Construction Departments. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5.30pm and Fridays are 9am to 5pm. What qualification do I get? Surveying Technician Level 3 apprenticeship BTEC level 3 in Construction and the Built Environment After gaining your level 3 apprenticeship there is an opportunity to further your studies with an HNC or Degree apprenticeship in Real Estate Management. Career progression paths would be to a Land Buyer, Land Manager then Land Director. About you This is a busy and varied support role.
