EmployerTameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust Job TitleSpecialty Doctor (Staff Grade level) – Anaesthetic Department Role OverviewThe post holder will provide middle grade surgeon support to the Consultants and SHO, including clinical work and operating lists, at times independent of direct supervision. The role also involves sustaining the provision of an efficient Anaesthetic service to patients, ensuring the highest quality of care and meeting local and national targets. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide surgical and anaesthetic support to Consultants and SHO.Maintain patient care standards and ensure quality of care.Participate in the 2nd on-call rota covering Maternity and ITU (occasionally 1st on-call).Cover work at a sister hospital as part of the Healthier Together programme. Qualifications and ExperienceStaff Grade level (Specialty Doctor) in Anaesthetics.Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in Anaesthetics.Ability to work independently and in partnership with colleagues.
