Our mission is to inspire every child with the joy and transformative power of music, creating collective harmony both in and beyond the classroom.Weekly teaching, full school day - 8.45am-3.30/4.30pm, term timePermanent placement in a Sing Education primary school/sTeaching from 1 to 5 days per weekSinging-led curricular whole-class music lessons - Nursery to Year 6 following Sing Education teaching resourcesChoirs, lunchtime and after school clubsRequirementsQualificationsUniversity graduate with a degree in music or a related fieldSkills and KnowledgeStrong vocal skills with the confidence to lead lessons and assembliesExcellent command of spoken and written EnglishCapability to conduct whole-class music lessonsBasic keyboard proficiency for classroom useUnderstanding of the National Curriculum for musicProficient with ICT and able to use online systems such as G SuiteExperienceExperience in classroom teaching or one-on-one instructionPrevious work with children or young people in a teaching or leadership rolePersonal AttributesPassionate about inspiring a love for music in pupilsStrong classroom management and disciplinary skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with both Sing Education and school teamsMaintains appropriate confidentialityPossesses a sense of humour and can generate enthusiasm for musicHighly organised with excellent communication skillsCommitment to personal and professional developmentCompensationFull-time Salary PA: £24,867 - £32,542 (for 5 days per week), based on a 5-point progressive pay scale.Staff progress up the pay scale with each 12 months of service following a successful managerial supervision meeting.
