Find your future at Revvity For this position, the usual working week will be Tuesday-Saturday although we operate under a 7-day flexible shift working pattern so some flexibility will be required. Role Description Working under supervision to take responsibility for preparing and conducting of the routine diagnostic tests using T-SPOT technology. Be responsible for identifying and raising any issues or concerns with allocated work that may cause a service delay, ensuring that any issues are communicated to the line manager or supervisor in a timely manner. Assist with the resolution of analytical issues as they occur. With assistance from more senior staff, prioritise workload to ensure key targets and objectives are met on time. Performing duties in other departments, on an occasional basis, to meet critical Company objectives as required. Achieve competency in the T-SPOT techniques including manual and automated processing. Follow company and departmental Health and Safety Policies at all times. The role will require flexible working on Saturdays and Sundays. Working to the Company Values at all times. Role Requirements Essential qualifications, skills, and abilities BSc/foundation/diploma qualification or equivalent experience, preferably in a life sciences discipline Knowledge of Windows and Office based applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to organise and prioritise workloads Previous work experience in a laboratory environment Desirable Technical Skills and Abilities An understanding of the healthcare, diagnostic and/or pharmaceutical industries Familiarity with Quality System concepts and requirements including GcP and ISO systems Emotional Skills and Abilities Capable of handling multiple tasks at the same time Capable of working effectively in a team environment Able to communicate effectively at all levels Competencies Level - Foundation Level Essentials Compliance and integrity Customer focus Communication & relationships Accountability Perseverance What We Offer Salary plus health and wellbeing package Purposeful work environment Dynamic culture in which customers are at the forefront Being part of a highly qualified team that is committed to excellence Access to cutting‑edge expertise through which you can make positive impact in the world around us The Laboratory Operations department offers routine testing service for the analysis of T‑cells to aid in the diagnosis of, and investigation of infectious diseases using the company’s own T‑SPOT technology as well as innovative research techniques. The Oxford Diagnostic Laboratory (ODL) within the Laboratory Operations department provides a UKAS accredited routine diagnostic service to UK clinical services, and the Certimmune function within Laboratory Operations participates in ground‑breaking research including collaboration with Pharma companies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
