Job Summary Hourly Rate: £12.85 - £13.02 per hour. Permanent position. Part Time – Term Time Only. Hours per week: 2.5. Work Base: Hawtonville Youth Centre, Newark, NG24 4HX. Working Arrangements: Office Based. Competency Framework: Tier 7a. Closing Date: 09 December 2025 23:55. Responsibilities You are invited to deliver open access youth work sessions during evenings for young people aged 10 to 19. Current Sessions Available: Monday 6pm to 8.30pm Tuesday 6pm to 8.30pm Thursday 6pm to 8.30pm Friday 6pm to 8.30pm Youth Work can be a challenging role and requires a positive and reliable person to be a Youth Support Worker. If you feel this role could be for you we invite you to apply. Required Skills and Competencies Build positive relationships with young people aged 10 to 19. Work as a team member to deliver and manage positive activities during the session for young people. Complete training including induction and Level 2 Youth Work qualification (includes Saturday training and evening training). Be responsive to change during the session and work as a team to resolve issues. Be a positive role model to young people.
