OverviewOur client the UK's leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of bespoke physical security products are looking for a motivated and experienced Automatic Door Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team.If you are looking for an exciting opportunity that allows you to be on the road, work autonomously and solve complex problems, then this is the job for you.LocationNewcastle (covering large area from your home address)SalaryCompetitive + company van + fuel card + overtimeHours8am - 5pm + overtime (if you travel to and from work outside of these hours you will be paid overtime for that)Benefits25 days annual leave + bank holidays, access to employee health scheme, pensionResponsibilitiesYou will be the primary point of contact for all service-related tasks in your area, including maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter and have a passion for problem solving. You must also have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to maintain and update your own van stock. You must also be comfortable working with a tablet for job reporting.Experience working with Automatic Doors (Swing / Slide) and / or Roller Shutters is essential, ideally within installation or maintenanceQualificationsBSEN16005 accreditation - DesirableIT skills (Proficient in mobile device / tablet use)Ability to troubleshoot, i.e. repair equipmentPositive can-do self-motivated attitude towards work and willingness to support other technicians in the fieldExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customersFull UK Driving LicenseCompany NoteeSift have been appointed as the resource partner and we are managing this role on behalf of our client.
