We are seeking a Recycling Centre Operative to join our team in Newark This is a customer-facing role, helping the public correctly dispose of their waste while ensuring the site remains clean and organised. Key Responsibilities Assisting customers in finding the correct containers for their waste Answering queries and providing guidance on recycling Sorting through waste from black bin bags and placing it in the appropriate containers Completing paperwork and using tablets for data entryGeneral site cleaning and maintenance Opportunities for Progression Site Foreman Assistant Site Foreman Duration: This role has contracts for permanent jobs. Contract Type: Temporary Hourly Rate: The hourly wage for this role is £12.21, with 28 days of paid holidaySaturdays are paid at Time and a HalfSundays are paid at Double TimePlease note we do note we do not offer Visa Sponsorship. Working Hours: Split shifts on a weekly rotation: Week 1: 08:00 – 16:30 Week 2: 11:00 – 19:30 Closing Date: 20251128 Experience & Qualifications What We’re Looking For: Recycling experience is not necessary but would be very beneficial Excellent customer service skills A proactive and positive attitude Ability to work as part of a teamBasic IT skills for data entry #J-18808-Ljbffr
