Join to apply for the Hire Desk Controller - Trading role at Speedy Hire Speedy are the UK’s leading hire provider with the widest range of tools, specialist hire equipment, plant and support services – everything for every job The role is based in the depot in Cambuslang, Glasgow. Working Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week, 07:30‑17:00. Responsibilities The Hire Desk Controller is a vital part of operations on the front line of sales and customer service. You will coordinate the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the depot to ensure the needs of the customer are met and that they’re satisfied with our service. On a day‑to‑day basis you will be desk‑based, working directly with other departments, liaising regularly with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure minimal delay in fulfilling customer needs.
