Firm: Enfuse Group – Location: London – Education: Postgraduate degree We are seeking a highly capable Senior Data Consultant to join our Data & Analytics Consulting Practice. This senior role blends architectural design expertise with hands‑on data engineering ability, enabling you to deliver high‑value client outcomes across multiple industries. Our clients operate in higher education, travel and transport, retail, and hospitality. Each faces the challenge of making their diverse data platforms deliver meaningful business value. You will help them achieve that by providing advisory and assurance services across a range of modern data management technologies, including Data Vault 2.0 architectures, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Google BigQuery, and Databricks. Reporting to the Data and AI Consulting Manager, you will combine consulting experience, technical proficiency, and stakeholder engagement skills to accelerate our clients’ journeys to becoming more data‑driven and less data‑busy. Key Responsibilities Design, validate, and optimise Data Vault 2.0 architectures across Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery environments. Provide best‑practice guidance on dbt modelling, testing frameworks, and macros. Define governance and metadata standards (naming, access, lineage, compliance) suited to regulated industries like higher education and retail. Recommend orchestration and deployment strategies using Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or similar tools, with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or comparable platforms. Lead workshops and knowledge transfer sessions to embed skills and practices within client teams. Consulting & Stakeholder Relationship Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, ensuring data solutions are aligned to business objectives. Contribute to the development of compelling proposals, deliverables, and presentations. Build strong client relationships by communicating complex data concepts clearly and effectively. Requirements Essential Experience with at least two major cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). Proven expertise with Snowflake and/or Databricks. Strong understanding of Data Vault 2.0 methodology and hands‑on experience with dbt. Familiarity with modern data orchestration tools (ADF, AWS Glue, Google Dataflow, or similar). Experience with BI and analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker). Solid grasp of data governance and metadata management practices, including regulatory compliance (GDPR, PCI, etc.).
