Senior Full Stack Engineer – AI SaaS Venture I'm partnering exclusively with a well‑funded, Manchester‑based AI startup that is tackling a genuinely difficult, real‑world challenge. The team already has strong early commercial momentum with paying clients and has been accepted into a prestigious global accelerator programme. We are scaling our Founding Engineering team and you will be one of the very first technical hires outside the core founders, in a crucial autonomous role focused on leading the creation of scalable, user‑centric products that leverage cutting‑edge AI and data‑automation technology. Responsibilities Platform Build: Architect and deliver a greenfield platform, driving it from early MVP to high‑scale production. Architectural Leadership: Design clean, resilient solutions across all layers – front‑end, back‑end services and critical infrastructure. Product Input: Collaborate directly with the Product Lead and early users to define the roadmap and guide the overall technical direction of the business. Scaling Foundation: Establish the technical standards, tooling and culture that will serve as the template for the future engineering team. The Skillset They Need Deep Full Stack Expertise – proven mastery across the stack, specifically with Python, Typescript, and React. Cloud Proficiency – practical experience with cloud‑native architecture and modern DevOps tooling. Scaling Experience – comfortable designing and deploying secure, highly scalable APIs and services. Startup DNA – demonstrable experience with ML/AI tooling and thrives in a rapidly evolving, early‑stage product environment. What’s on the Table Base Salary: Up to £90k plus competitive equity/share options. Autonomy: Full technical ownership and freedom to define your engineering approach. Location: Primarily remote with monthly on‑site collaboration with the founding team in Manchester. Culture: A fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment that focuses on impact over bureaucracy.
