We aim to make our pubs the social hub, employ local people, source local produce and raise the profile of the village.ResponsibilitiesWe are on the hunt for an experienced part-time supervisor or colleague to join the team at The Wheatsheaf, Ingleton. You will be responsible for overseeing shifts on the bar and in the restaurant in the absence of the General and Assistant Manager, ensuring excellent customer service is given at every opportunity.Working independently to run shiftsAble to manage the cellar and stock controlTake food and drink orders as well as deliver food to customersUnderstand, and be able to deal with, allergen queries with food ordersEnsure all customers are made to feel welcome and experience the level of service expected by the site and companyReport any issues during shift to your manager at the earliest convenienceContribute to the smooth running of the venue on a day-to-day basisEnsure that all areas of the venue are maintained in a clean, hygienic, and safe conditionThis is a development role, and we would be looking for a candidate who will progress with the business.
