Your Responsibilities

As a key member of our New Ventures pillar, you will be instrumental in helping us explore and serve new user segments. Your primary focus will be on exploring new product opportunities. You will lead the process from ideation and concept stages to validating and testing key assumptions, and ultimately designing, testing, and building an MVP that can scale if successful.

Outcome 1: Test, validate and build product MVPs

  1. Collaborate with your cross-functional squad to generate concepts that resonate with the target audience,
  2. Understand the key financial assumptions we need to test and validate to ensure that the product could be significantly revenue additive at scale
  3. Decide on scope and trade-offs to get MVPs out to users for the most promising concepts and ensure success criteria are established and evaluated

Outcome 2: Scale up a successful MVP

  1. Work with commercial finance, operations/partnerships to understand lead times and dependencies for scaling an MVP to a larger number of users
  2. Align with marketing on value props for acquiring new users to the product
  3. Continue to validate key assumptions as the product scales and continuously iterate on the product based on learnings
Required Skills and Experience
  1. Have early stage (0-1) product experience building consumer financial products, at a start-up or scale-up, and enjoy being hands on with a cross functional team of analysts, designers, and engineers.
  2. Able to say “no” more than you say “yes” to keep the squads focused on the most impactful priorities, but also able to communicate clearly with stakeholders and get alignment
  3. Work collaboratively with your product squad and involve them in strategy and decision-making
  4. Bring creativity into how we approach financial products. We're radically changing how people interact with and feel about their finances. This means thinking about problems in a different way, and we encourage PMs from all backgrounds to apply.
  5. Bring energy and drive to ensure your product is successful. People would describe you as a force of nature who cares about their team.
