OverviewAdvanced Practitioner - Children's Localities — £37.00 per hour — West Yorkshire — 37 hours p/w, hybrid Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced social worker who is able to manage a caseload comprising Child and Family Assessments, Child in Need, Child Protection, Child Care Proceedings until permanence. This caseload will have a level of complexity and lead worker responsibilities working alongside other social workers; it will not have supervisory / line manager responsibilities. Social workers should be able to practice restoratively with children and families and promote family-led decisions to manage risk and meet support needs. Applicants must demonstrate excellent relational work with children and families and be able to engage children through direct work and child-centred practice. Organisation skills and ability to meet competing demands are required to ensure practice standards, quality, and performance. The post requires workers to have good analytical assessment skills and high-quality written work. Social workers will need to work as part of a busy but supportive team and share their knowledge and skills to promote a learning culture. What you need A degree in Social Work or equivalent Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England At least 3 years PQE permanent, direct employment within English LA Completed relevant post-qualifying training Enhanced DBS check Excellent communication and written skills Why Work with Pertemps Social Care?
