What we do is fast-paced, exciting and rewarding which is why we love it and why you’ll love life at Wasserman Live.Wasserman Live are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, skilled and confident Senior Associate Director – Fabrication to join our ever-expanding team and workload to lead our Events, Exhibition and fabrication build team. This team produce large scale fabrication projects and builds for various client sectors including commercial interiors, exhibitions and events, experiential events, roadshows, conferences and many more.The role is to lead and direct a extensive team of carpenters, CAD technicians, Production Managers and subcontractor freelancers to ensure “Right First Time” event and fabrication builds that are delivered within budget to agreed timelines and continue to push boundaries of our clients ideas as well as adhering to all required Health & Safety guidelines and procedures across the full variety of Wasserman Live clients and markets.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGYou will work closely with your team as well as guiding and advising the project management team with their budgets, scoping, designs and build schedules.You will provide comprehensive support and leadership on projects and tasks, plan daily, weekly and monthly build schedules, as well as strategically look to grow the department and fabrication offering as well as developing your team and their skills. Key performance tasks will be : -Ensuring your team are holding productive daily production meetings.Creating and monitoring build schedules ensuring client delivery is always met.Develop build event ideas with project managers and production team.Updating internal MIS system with workloads and tasks for the wider team to ensure projects deliver on time. Training provided.Providing guidance and leadership across practicable build, construction and site project management needs .Ability to liaise with clients as and when, as well as be part of pitches for new works.Management experience and guidance across live event and exhibitions, Festivals, Roadshows and live days ensuring that we have full cover for these when needed.Advise on build drawings for projects, drawing on your experience to ensure that items are built in the most efficient way driving profitability for Wasserman LiveWorking with your Head of Production and Production Managers ensure that all scheduling of all shift patterns are covered correctly, along with monitoring of overtime and weekend working requirements.Ensure that all projects are being managed to a high standard, advising on best route / method for the production of all elements and requirements to deliver the project where needed.Leading the fabrication team advising and planning all production elements, along with training and development.Attending other business wide meeting requirements, and ensuring that the fabrication department is heard and has a voice at these meetings.Strategically keep our fabrication build department at the forefront of technology and industry improvements.Engage with other department leads and Associate Directors to ensure that you are working cohesively and efficiently, have the ability to look wider and engage outside of Fabrication.Keep and continue to improve H&S requirements and ensure teams are adhering to our standards.THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEEDExcellent Communication skills.Leadership of a wide and diverse team.Ability to develop teams and individuals with daily tasks as well as career and business wide objectives.Discuss business wide strategic opportunities and be part of the wider leadership team.Strong experience and knowledge ofCADCNCOctanorm and event build systemsCarpentry / joinery skillsElectrical LED lighting systemsAVTeam leadership and buildingExcellent ability to project manage, problem solve, work to deadlines with fantastic organisation skills.Ability to deal with conflict and ultimately resolution.Hardworking, reliable ability to work as part of a teamAble to multi-task and prioritise, you will be expected to understand the entire fabrication build schedule and manage this accordingly.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsComputer literate with knowledge of MS Office suite.Health and Safety trainedClean driving licence - essentialFork lift licence – desirableWeekend and offsite working may be required from time to timeWasserman does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other reason prohibited by law in provision of employment opportunities and benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
