Paid hourly, with all overtime paid. Overtime during the weekends paid at inflated rate.To be responsible for supervising electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential StandardsEnsure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project’s quality plan and inspection and test plansTo follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and to be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances ariseTo coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and ApprenticesPromote and demonstrate the Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clientsPromote positive health and wellbeing amongst their peerTo act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company’s positive reputationECS Gold Card (essential)SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification where appropriateExperience within the water/waste water industryExperience Supervising a small team on installationsEmergency first aid or First AiderKnowledge of health & safety legislation and company proceduresPrepared to take responsibility for self and othersFull UK driving licenseFit to work medical.DesirableCCNSG and EUSRInspection and testing certificateAbility to write simple risk assessmentsBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR BRIDGESRoSPA Gold Medal winner, Bridges - is an excellent company to work for and a great place to develop your career.
