Greater London, United Kingdom New Level Academy Full time

OverviewPhotographer & Filmmaker Volunteer - Volunteer at New Level Academy.Help capture the story of London Rangers FC through powerful photography and film. We need a creative volunteer to shoot training, matches and community activities, producing high-quality visuals for our website and social media to inspire supporters and celebrate our young people. What difference will you make? This role will make a significant difference to London Rangers FC because high-quality visual storytelling is one of the most powerful ways for us to communicate our mission, celebrate our players, and show the impact of our education and community work. As a small but ambitious organisation, we rely heavily on building trust with families, partners, sponsors, and supporters. Strong photography and film content helps us achieve this in a way that words alone cannot.Your work will immediately enhance the quality of our website, social media, and promotional materials. Football is a visual sport, and our community programmes are filled with moments of growth, encouragement, teamwork, and transformation. Capturing these moments will allow us to show potential players, funders, and partners what London Rangers stands for – opportunity, development, belonging, and positive change for young people. For young people themselves, being photographed and filmed in positive, uplifting moments builds confidence and pride. Seeing themselves represented in our visuals fosters a sense of identity and belonging within the club. For their families, these images become invaluable memories and show the progress their children are making on and off the pitch. From an organisational perspective, high-quality media is essential for fundraising and sponsorship. Businesses and donors are far more likely to support a club that presents itself professionally, consistently, and clearly. Your photos and videos will help us create more compelling sponsorship packs, grant applications, and promotional campaigns—ultimately increasing the financial sustainability of our football and youth programmes. In addition, your work will play a key role in strengthening our visibility in the local community. Social media is a major tool for building awareness, reaching new families, and demonstrating the value of community sport. Regular, engaging content—captured by a skilled volunteer—will significantly increase our reach and help us grow our teams, events, and partnerships. This role also supports our long-term development plans. As we move toward building new facilities, expanding training opportunities, and deepening our education–football pathway, having strong visuals will help us showcase our journey to prospective funders, investors, councils, and community partners. Most importantly, your contribution supports our core mission of improving the lives of young people. By telling their stories through images and film, you help highlight the transformative power of sport, mentorship, and community. You help us show the world the positive change happening at London Rangers—and inspire others to join us in making that change even greater. What are we looking for?We are seeking a creative, reliable, and skilled volunteer who can help London Rangers FC capture powerful visual stories through high-quality photography and film. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with people, enjoys capturing real moments, and can translate the energy of football and community programmes into compelling visual content. Through high-quality photos and videos, you will help us celebrate our players, highlight our community impact, attract new supporters, and strengthen our online presence across our website and social media platforms.Your main responsibility will be to attend selected training sessions, matches, and community activities to document the energy, emotion, and personality of our club. This content will support a wide range of purposes, including recruitment, fundraising, sponsorship, volunteer engagement, and strengthening our identity as a community-focused football club with a strong social mission.Key responsibilities include capturing action shots during training and matches—everything from fast-paced football moments to small interactions that show teamwork, encouragement, and development. You will also take more controlled images when needed, such as team photos, portraits, promotional images, and shots for our website banners or sponsorship materials. In addition to photography, the volunteer may also film short clips or longer videos, depending on your skill set and interest. These could include match highlights, interviews with coaches or players, behind-the-scenes snippets, short social content, or mini-stories that show the progression of our young people. The ability to think creatively about how to turn real moments into engaging, authentic content will be highly valued.A key deliverable will be a library of high-quality photos and video clips that can be used by our media and communications team. This bank of content will help us maintain a consistent and professional presence online. You will also assist with selecting and editing the best images from each session, ensuring they are suitable for social media, website features, and printed material. The volunteer will work closely with our Director, football coaches, and our small media/marketing team. We are a community club with a growing number of players, and educational programmes, so the visual storytelling you provide will be essential in connecting supporters, parents, and partners to the work we do.Although this is primarily a creative role, there is also an important safeguarding element. We support vulnerable young people, so the volunteer must follow our photography guidelines and ensure images are captured respectfully and appropriately. We will provide clear guidance on what is acceptable and ensure consent procedures are followed. The main priority is to help us capture meaningful visuals that celebrate our young people, promote our values, and strengthen our identity. Whether through powerful action shots, emotional moments, or creative short films, your contribution will directly help the club grow and inspire the community we serve. This role is perfect for someone passionate about photography and filmmaking who wants to build their portfolio, contribute to a meaningful cause, and help tell the story of a club that blends football, education, and community transformation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
