Overview Of The Role As an Asset Management Consultant (or Senior Asset Management Consultant) you will lead advisory projects, providing end‑to‑end trusted advice in areas such as asset management investment planning, strategies, risk management, information management, reliability‑centred maintenance, and data analytics. You will play a vital role in growing the business, connecting with clients and colleagues to create opportunities. Candidate Specification Proven track record of asset management in at least one key growth sector – Water, Buildings, Rail, Aviation, or Defence. Strong analytical and leadership skills with experience managing concurrent priorities and supporting junior staff. Experience in delivery consultancy or asset management, with a solid understanding of tools and techniques. Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), or Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Demonstrated ability to develop and mature organisational approaches to asset management. Recent experience in an infrastructure or engineering sector, ideally strategy‑focused or operational roles. Strong project management and delivery skills; experience leading projects and managing a team of consultants. Creative problem‑solving skills and capacity to diagnose issues and develop tailored solutions. Institute of Asset Management certificate or diploma is desirable. Preferred locations: London (home office); willing to work from Birmingham, Manchester, Cambridge, or Leeds. Travel to the UK (and occasionally internationally) is required.
