Post is subject to an enhanced DBS for Child & Adult.The RoleIn this role you will be a 4 day week Maths Teacher taking responsibility for preparation, planning and teaching the Maths GCSE curriculum for 16 – 18 year olds. You will prepare students for exams, coursework, homework, student monitoring, and where appropriate, curriculum development. The expectation is that high levels of student attainment will be achieved. You will join a supportive core subjects team and will have good support from the senior leadership team.QTS / QTLS / PGCE or other relevant teaching qualificationStrong subject knowledge across all sciencesA proactive and engaging teaching approachStrong classroom management to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphereExcellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with studentsAbility to use ICT effectivelyThe CollegeThis large 6th Form college is based in Haringey and is a popular choice for students and families.
