Nesting EngineerNewcastle-under-Lyme£30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)PermanentWe are recruiting for an experienced Nesting Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company based in Newcastle-under-Lyme. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong nesting software experience who is looking to develop their skills within a growing and forward‑thinking engineering environment.The RoleAs a Nesting Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimising nested components for production. You’ll work closely with the design and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate output, minimal material waste, and efficient workflow throughout the fabrication process.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and optimise nests for laser cutting and fabrication using Boost and RADAN nesting softwareInterpret technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and manufacturabilityLiaise with the Production and Engineering teams to meet daily manufacturing schedulesAdjust nests based on machine capabilities and material allowancesTroubleshoot nesting issues and implement improvementsMaintain organised documentation and ensure all nests are processed correctly for productionContribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce wasteSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience in a similar role within manufacturing or fabrication (ideally metals/steel)Strong working knowledge of Boost and RADAN nesting softwareAbility to read and interpret technical/engineering drawingsExcellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilityStrong communication and teamwork skillsUnderstanding of CNC machinery or laser cutting processes (desirable)What's on OfferSalary £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience plus additional company benefitsOpportunity to work for a well‑established, innovative manufacturerSupportive working environment with long‑term progression opportunitiesFor more information regarding the above role, please call Amy on (phone number removed) or forward your CV for consideration.Please note that due to the high volume of applications we receive, only those successfully shortlisted for the role will be personally contacted.Follow us on LinkedIn and Facebook for updates, recruitment information, new vacancies and more #J-18808-Ljbffr
