Description Job title: Advanced Apprentice Mechanical Machinist/Setter Technician Location: Washington Salary: Starting from £18,023 with annual progression through the scheme duration. What you’ll be doing: Program, set-up, operate and manage CNC machine tools in a production environment. This highly skilled engineering role also involves working with other auxiliary equipment such as conventional machine tools, press machines, robotics and measuring systems. Create detailed engineering drawings and use a full range of measuring equipment. Gain core competencies to set and run a CNC Lathe. Hand fitting and polishing to a high level of accuracy. Supporting the running of multiple products throughout the site. Tool changes and programme modifications. Continuous Improvement. Health and Safety of yourself and others. The qualification you will achieve is: Machining technician / Skills England To achieve this qualification, you will be expected to attend TDR Training fulltime during the first year.
