About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced PDI Technician to join a busy and well-established workshop based in Chelmsford. You'll be working alongside a team of 15 skilled technicians, playing a crucial role in the pre-delivery inspection and preparation of new and used vehicles to approved standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with workshop experience who's looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking, supportive company.
 
Working Hours
Week 1: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pmWeek 2: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm and Saturday, 8:00am – 12:00pm (on a rota basis)

PDI Technician Key Responsibilities

Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles
Servicing and preparing used cars to manufacturer standards
Ensuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standards
Following all workshop procedures and health & safety guidelines 
PDI Technician Requirements

Previous experience in a workshop environment
Minimum NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds in Vehicle Repair
Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures
Excellent attention to detail
Full UK manual driving licence
A positive attitude and team-player mindset
