Job Description
- Strategic Growth Initiatives
- Identify and assess new market opportunities, industry trends, and customer needs to develop tailored business strategies.
- Develop and execute a business development plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Sales and Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, distributors, and partners.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new contracts and grow revenue streams.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing.
- Market Research and Competitor Analysis
- Conduct detailed market analysis to understand industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration and Teamwork
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, and customer support) to align on business objectives and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Work closely with sales teams to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Performance Reporting
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance reviews for senior management.
- Use CRM tools and systems to track progress and ensure seamless communication across the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
- 3-5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the refrigeration or commercial equipment sector.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and data.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
