Job Description

  • Strategic Growth Initiatives
    • Identify and assess new market opportunities, industry trends, and customer needs to develop tailored business strategies.
    • Develop and execute a business development plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Sales and Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, distributors, and partners.
    • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new contracts and grow revenue streams.
    • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing.
  • Market Research and Competitor Analysis
    • Conduct detailed market analysis to understand industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development, and customer support) to align on business objectives and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
    • Work closely with sales teams to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Performance Reporting
    • Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance reviews for senior management.
    • Use CRM tools and systems to track progress and ensure seamless communication across the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3-5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the refrigeration or commercial equipment sector.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and data.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
