Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. Our mission We're powering biology's century with radically faster, more reliable clinical trials. Every new treatment needs clinical trials to prove safety and efficacy, but today's infrastructure is stuck in the past—driving up cost, causing delays and ultimately meaning new treatments don’t get to patients. We're fundamentally changing that— not just being a "better CRO," but transforming how people think about developing new treatments, so patients can access breakthrough treatments faster. Our impact speaks for itself Since March 2021, we've powered 100+ clinical trials involving tens of thousands of patients. We recently raised a $55M Series B from Balderton Capital, alongside backing from Creandum, Firstminute, Seedcamp, and Visionaries. What's it like to work here? When You Join Us, You’ll Experience High-Impact, Mission-Driven Work: Lindus Health is disrupting an outdated industry, giving you the chance to directly improve patients’ lives and see tangible results from your work. Fast-Paced Growth & Ownership: We recognise hard work and outcomes over anything else. You’ll take on real responsibility, work across different areas, and actively shape the company’s success. Collaborative, No-Ego Culture: Work with smart, driven people in a supportive and informal environment. At Lindus we break down silos, fun is a core value, and creativity is encouraged. Ready to power biology's century? We'd love to hear from you. About The Role We're looking for Doctors eager to develop their careers by training as a research physician and medical monitor. This role is perfect for GPs, whether they are locum doctors, or part‑time partners or salaried doctors looking for additional income while developing expertise in clinical research. You'll help deliver clinical trials, performing medical oversight and safety monitoring roles, with comprehensive training and mentorship provided by our experienced Research Physicians. This is a flexible, part‑time position (typically 4‑10 hours per week) that can work around your existing clinical commitments. No previous clinical research experience is required—you’ll be a curious, engaged doctor who wants to learn medical monitoring and contribute to innovative clinical trials. Remote-friendly & UK-based This is a flexible, remote-friendly position based in the UK. About You You're a qualified physician with active GMC registration. You're interested in clinical research and expanding beyond clinical practice. You demonstrate openness and genuine enthusiasm for research. You have a strong understanding of clinical governance. You regularly read research papers/journals and follow evidence-based practice. You have excellent communication skills, particularly with non-medical stakeholders. You're flexible with your time and can commit to 4‑10 hours per week. You're willing to participate in an on‑call rota. You're motivated to learn and develop new skills in medical monitoring. You embody Lindus Health values: Be Transparent, High Agency, and Benefit Patients. No previous clinical research experience is required—we're looking for curious, engaged doctors who want to learn. What You'll Focus On Training Programme: You will receive structured on‑the‑job training from our experienced Research Physicians. Learn ICH guidelines, regulatory requirements, and develop expertise in medical monitoring and trial safety oversight. Medical Monitoring & Research Physician Responsibilities: Review and assess adverse events, safety data, and protocol deviations. Make medical decisions regarding participant safety and study continuation. Provide medical oversight for clinical trials across various therapeutic areas and monitor study compliance with protocols and ethical standards. Potential to be a trial Investigator, initially as a Sub‑Investigator. Ongoing Development: Work alongside experienced medical monitors on live trials and gain exposure to diverse trials and therapeutic areas. Participate in team case discussions and learning sessions. Build skills that can lead to more senior research physician opportunities. What We Offer We believe in rewarding the people who are building the future of clinical research. Financial & Growth Competitive rates—equivalent to GP locum rates. Additional payment for on‑call rota participation. Comprehensive training provided. Insurance coverage for work done on behalf of Lindus Health. Flexibility & Work-Life Balance Flexible working hours to fit around your existing commitments (typically 4‑10 hours/week initially). Part‑time, remote-friendly position. Work with a stable, well‑funded, fast‑growing organisation. Professional Development Mentorship from experienced Research Physicians. Exposure to cutting‑edge clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas. Opportunity to develop valuable clinical research expertise. Build skills that can lead to more senior research physician opportunities. Culture & Impact Contribute to meaningful research that brings new treatments to patients.
