About the job As an Engineering Director - Security at Kantar you will be crucial in shaping and driving our security technology strategy By partnering with security operations engineering teams and business leadership you will align security initiatives with business objectives and mitigate security risks ensuring our data and systems are robustly protected. You will develop and manage the security solution roadmap and oversee the implementation of these solutions. Working closely with engineering and product teams you will drive security‑by‑design principles and advocate for security best practices across the organisation. Your role will be integral to embedding a culture of security awareness and resilience within the wider team Job Goals Strategic Partnership and Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organisation to agree the security stance and set strategy based on overall priorities and security risks. Security Solution Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive security solution roadmap that outlines the strategic direction for infrastructure security. Implementation Oversight: Oversee the implementation of security solutions ensuring they are delivered on time and meet the highest standards of security and compliance. Provide technical guidance and oversight to external partners during deployment. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in the design and configuration of security systems. Oversee the implementation and running of these systems to ensure robust security services for business users security operations and app teams. Vendor Management: Manage relationships and engagements with external vendors ensuring they meet the companys security requirements and deliver on objectives. Innovation and Vision: Drive innovation across the security landscape by considering the latest security trends and technologies. Provide thought leadership around security tooling and solutions focusing on protecting against emerging risks. Ideal Skills & Capabilities Solid understanding of security principles and compliance standards within the relevant industry. Expertise with cloud security particularly in Microsoft Azure environments. Proficiency in security solutions such as Privileged Access Management Endpoint Detection and Response Identity and Access Management and familiarity with the CIS framework. Proven ability in product management strategic planning and stakeholder management across large‑scale organisations.
