This role focuses on teaching face-to-face adult group classes on Sunday mornings, with the potential for additional evening courses. As part of IH London, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a supportive, international community of teachers, with access to resources, professional development, and a lively student community. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Mandarin lessons to adult learners. Design creative and effective learning materials. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback. Create an inclusive and motivating classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards. Complete attendance records and progress reports as needed. Right to work in the UK (must be UK-based). Proficiency in Mandarin (native or near-native level). Initial teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE). Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching adults in a formal setting. Desirable Skills & Qualifications CELTA, Trinity TESOL, or DELTA qualification. Degree in Mandarin Language & Literature, or in Modern Languages. Experience teaching both group and individual lessons. Flexibility to teach additional evening courses.
