Team Leader Radiotherapy Radiographer B7 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader Radiotherapy Radiographer to join our Pre Treatment team. As a Team Leader Radiographer you will achieve and grow your potential while supporting the delivery of high quality patient care. Main duties of the job The purpose of this role is to undertake radiotherapy interventions at a team‑leader level to the highest professional and technical standards, working with Medical, Radiographic, Physics and Administrative colleagues within the Radiotherapy team. Job responsibilities Pre‑treatment planning and assessment of patients in collaboration with the Radiotherapy team. Preparation and delivery of radiotherapy treatments using highly specialised equipment (Hybrid EMAS, Halcyon, TrueBeam, ETHOS). Management of the pre‑treatment workflow, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of radiation therapy. Providing information, education, practical and emotional support to patients and carers throughout their radiotherapy episode. Participation in clinical governance activities and project management for service improvement. Supervision of junior staff and ensuring adherence to best practice protocols.
