Job Title & Details Job Title: Deputy Manager (Children’s Residential – LD) Location: Doncaster Salary: £33,280 per annum (based on 40 hours/week at £16.00/hour) Working Hours: 40 hours per week Hourly Rate: £16.00 Number of Sleeps Required: n/a Service: Children’s Home Service Users: YPs with Learning Disabilities (LD) Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent as recognised by Ofsted) Experience in Years Required: Must have experience in a children’s residential setting Employment Type: Temporary (Maternity Cover – 9 Months, with potential for extension) The Home Location: Doncaster Type of YPs: Learning Disabilities (LD) Who we are looking for ✅ Experience working in a children’s residential home setting, preferably supporting young people with Learning Disabilities ✅ A natural leader with strong team management and supervision experience ✅ An individual with knowledge of safeguarding and children’s home regulations ✅ Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) ✅ Passionate about creating safe, therapeutic environments where children thrive Who you will be working for A supportive, child-focused organisation operating a specialist children’s home in Doncaster.
