Where appropriate, you will make recommendations to other agencies to enable them to provide vulnerable families with a holistic package of support. You will work independently, manage a demanding workload, prioritise tasks, and adopt a flexible approach to changing and competing challenges. Additionally, you will promote equality of opportunity for all children, enabling access to appropriate educational entitlement. Qualifications • Experience working as an Education Welfare Officer or in a similar role. • Good understanding of the education system, especially school attendance. • Ability to travel across the borough, carry out home visits, visit schools, and attend meetings. • Experience working in a school attendance role is essential.
