Hours: 41 hours per week Location: Predominantly North West, across various sites Salary: £50,000+ per annum (depending on experience) Benefits: Car allowance, pension scheme, health insurance and ongoing support Reports to: Project/Operations Manager Works with: Sub-contractors, suppliers, clients, utility providers, and local authorities Role Purpose Responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring high standards of health & safety, quality, presentation, and programme delivery. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification. Key Responsibilities Ensure full compliance with company Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures. Maintain accurate H&S documentation and ensure all personnel are properly inducted. Lead, support, and motivate site teams; provide coaching and performance management. Manage subcontractors and ensure work meets required standards and specifications. Oversee site presentation, security, stock control and site administration. Coordinate build programmes, resources, deliveries, and weekly/fortnightly planning. Liaise with clients and internal teams; attend meetings and provide progress reports. Review and approve RAMS, installation programmes, testing and O&M documents. Prepare required site documentation including diaries, allocation sheets, delay records and SHE documents. Support design coordination and ensure compliance with building regulations and warranty provider requirements. Control site costs and ensure work is delivered within budget. Person Requirements Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to motivate teams and manage subcontractors Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Flexible, proactive, and committed to high standards Essential Qualifications CITB SMSTS First Aid at Work Desirable Qualifications Scaffold Appreciation LOLER CIOB membership/qualification Experience Proven experience managing site teams (including Site Managers/ASMs) Strong knowledge of building regulations and health & safety legislation Experience working on high value commercial and residential M&E jobs Other Requirements Full UK driving licence Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
