Job Title Pre-Commissioning Engineer Location Manchester, Northwest. Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k + Training + Benefits Level of Experience Trainee Pre-Commissioning Engineer through to Lead Profile Our client is a leading and reputable name within the water hygiene / water treatment industry who provide the sull range of water treatment, HVAC and Commissioning services to a range of residential, Healthcare commercial and educational sites. They are now looking to take on a hardworking and qualified Pre-Commissioning Engineer based in and around the Manchester area. The ideal candidate will hold extensive experience of pre-commissioning cleaning of water systems in line with BSRIA standards as well as balancing and flushing of heated and chilled systems. Applications will be considered from: Oldham, Stockport, Leigh, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Wigan, Warrington, St Helens, Preston, Blackburn, Bury, Burnley. Experience & Qualifications Must come from a strong educational, chemical, technical and water hygiene/water treatment background. Experience working in a water treatment pre-commissioning role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry is essential. Hands on experience flushing commercial and industrial water systems to BSRIA standard. Must have a good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and relevant health and safety legislation. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in using Microsoft office. The Role Carrying out pre-commissioning cleaning on the systems according to BSRIA standards. Carrying out balance flushing of Heated/Chilled Systems. Monitoring client’s air and water systems ensuring that they comply with the current Health and Safety legislation. Undertaking cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers. Installation and maintenance of dosing systems. Conducting routine sampling, temperature monitoring and analysis of water systems. Ensuring all work is being carried out according to specifications and legislation. Using information from site to produce detailed reports. Building a strong professional working relationship with clients.
