We provide integrated engineering and project management across the project lifecycle, from concept and design to construction and operations, decommissioning or repowering and life extension, helping to deliver the energy transition globally.About The Role: Join our Energy Unit’s Nuclear: Defence and Civil division as a Senior Electrical Engineer to work on a diverse portfolio of frameworks ranging from nuclear, defence, and other energy and infrastructure projects, tackling complex challenges in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.ResponsibilitiesCarry out detailed surveys of electrical services and equipment to establish status of existing installations and gather information to recommend new or upgrade design proposalsProduce and review design documents including basis of designs, technical specifications, procurement specifications, condition assessment reports and survey reports covering all aspects of electrical servicesProduce and review electrical design drawings and calculationsProduce estimates of work elements including equipment and manhour costsAdvise on all aspects of energy consumption and utilisation, identify delegation schemes and recommendations to improve energy performanceEnsure compliance with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, current legislation and standards associated with all engineering aspects of delegated projectsAttend engineering meetings liaising with other groups and clients as necessaryRequirementsDegree in Electrical EngineeringProfessional registration as a chartered engineer (CEng)Up to date knowledge of current legislation and standards applicable in building/infrastructure design environmentsExperience using Hevacomp, Dialux, Relux, Amtech Power, AutoCAD and IESMust have initiative, self-motivation and the confidence to make decisionsExcellent communication skillsJoin us if you’re ready to lead and make a difference.
