About the Role
Destination Education is currently seeking a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in East Finchley. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. You’ll be working closely with class teachers to provide academic and pastoral support, ensuring that pupils of all abilities are given the encouragement and tools they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across the primary age range.
Assist teachers in preparing lessons, managing resources, and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Support pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development.
Encourage positive behaviour and help promote an inclusive learning atmosphere.
Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Contribute to wider school activities, including enrichment sessions and assemblies.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience working in a primary school or educational setting.
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.
Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 or classroom-based experience are desirable but not essential.
