Mechanical/Utility Engineer Join to apply for the Mechanical/Utility Engineer role at IFF. Job Summary Ready to take the lead in utilities engineering at a dynamic manufacturing site? Join us to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations that keep our processes running 24/7. Where You’ll Make a Difference Lead utilities operations and maintenance for steam, water, cooling, refrigeration, air, and nitrogen systems. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain accurate records. Act as the Site Responsible Person for Legionella Control and develop/update utility procedures. Plan and coordinate proactive maintenance and manage corrective repairs. Oversee facilities projects and contractor management, including quotations and invoicing. Support team development and provide technical assistance, including out‑of‑hours support. What Makes You The Right Fit Completed engineering apprenticeship (minimum City & Guilds qualification). Proven leadership experience and strong fault‑finding skills. Hands‑on experience with site utilities operations. How Would You Stand Out Experience in chemical industry hazardous areas and food hygiene awareness. BOAS certification for boiler operations. Legionella management expertise. Forklift license.
