We have exclusively partnered with a growing NI Top 100 firm in the Newtownabbey region who are now looking to add a Financial Accountant as they have reached the next point in their growth phase. This Financial Accountant position will work closely with and report into the Financial Controller. The role itself is central to maintaining high-quality financial reporting, statutory compliance, improving internal controls, leading year‑end audit, and supporting the continued development of the finance function. What We Offer £48,000–£55,000 base salary (D.O.E.)Up to 10% employer pension contributionHealth Cash Plan30 days holiday (22 floating + 8 statutory)Holiday purchase scheme – buy up to 5 extra daysGym reimbursementFree on-site parking Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly financial accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely submissionProduction of statutory reports and support with year-end financial statementsCompletion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and control account reviewsPreparation of VAT, HMRC and compliance-related submissionsCashflow management and forecastingOversight of the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals and depreciationPreparation of financial analysis and insightful reporting for senior managementBusiness partnering with operational teams to support decision‑makingLead in external audits and liaising with auditorsSupporting continuous improvements across finance processes, systems and controlsAd hoc finance duties as required Who We’re Looking For Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Strong technical accounting knowledgeHigh level of competency with accounting software and ExcelExcellent analytical and problem‑solving skillsA diligent, proactive and detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, growing environmentStrong communication skills and confidence working with non-financial stakeholders Apply below or get in touch with Marc Norton at Artemis Human Capital for full details. #J-18808-Ljbffr
