Maths Teacher for GCSE and Functional Skills Join to apply for the Maths Teacher for GCSE and Functional Skills role at Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College. HLNSC is looking to appoint a highly effective Maths teacher to deliver Maths qualifications to full‑time 16/19‑year‑old students studying on full‑time vocational programmes at the college. This includes teaching GCSE maths and Functional Skills qualifications, and may also extend to apprentices and adult students. As part of this role you will deliver high‑quality teaching and learning, supporting learners and apprentices to make progress over time and helping them to achieve their preferred next steps in education, employment or further training. A flexible approach is required as change may be necessary within the scope of the post. The ideal candidate will already have a recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above, or be willing to work towards this qualification. The college can support unqualified applicants to pursue a relevant and appropriate teaching qualification, namely the Level 5 Learning and Skills Apprenticeship.
