An exciting opportunity for a growing business with an impressive track history with a 5-yr growth plan already in inception. A competitive salary of c£40k neg is on offer. Due to the nature of their industry (Adventure Sport) they are looking for working days of Wednesday – Sunday with a Mon, Tue weekend.

The successful candidate for the Apprenticeship Manager will have the following attributes and experience:

* Motivated and ambitious, with a passion for developing others.

* Strong organisational and time management skills

* A leader who builds trust and accountability

* Energetic and enthusiastic approach to fit in with the business culture

* Experienced in adventure sport, HR or recruitment or precious experience working within an educational settings perhaps managing apprenticeship, trainee or work placement programmes

The Apprenticeship Manager responsibilities will include:

* To lead and deliver a high-quality apprenticeship programme that supports the growth, development, and success of apprentices.

* Oversee and manage the customer experience zero hour’s team members, ensuring they are effectively led, supported, and aligned with operational requirements.

* Provide day-to-day leadership, support, and performance management for apprentice team members.

* Ensure all operational procedures are followed correctly and continuously improved in collaboration with other business stakeholders.

* Oversee the maintenance and availability of apprentice equipment, uniforms, and training kits.

* Champion an outstanding customer experience from arrival through to departure, ensuring apprentices consistently deliver exceptional service.

* Work with Apprentice Team Leaders to create an open, supportive, and high performing team culture.

* Conduct regular 1-to-1 reviews, setting development goals and supporting apprentices with HR and compliance needs.

* Collaborate with the Technical Manager to ensure the successful completion of progression goals for each apprentice

* Work collaboratively to refine and enhance the apprenticeship curriculum to ensure it is measurable, testable, and consistently achieves expected learning results.

* Liaise with local colleges and other partners to ensure apprentices achieve their NVQ within agreed timeframes.

* Lead the apprentice team with a strong focus on customer service, safety, and efficiency.
