We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Gastro on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Gastro department.Our client is one of the UK's biggest and most innovative trusts. Their size, scale and influence offer you unrivalled career opportunities and a forward-thinking approach to working that works around your lifestyle.The successful appointee will be asked to fulfil various duties, such as:providing outpatient and inpatient clinical support to the general gastroenterology servicetaking part in the emergency on call rota on a 1 in 8 basiscontributing to the emergency medical and GI bleeding on call servicesworking with medical, nursing and managerial colleagues to ensure high performance in regards to performance managementresponsibility for the appraisal of all doctors in training, Trust doctors and non-consultant grades as delegated by the Clinical Directorparticipation in clinical audit, incident reporting and analysis and to ensure resulting actions are implementedworking collaboratively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, other clinical and non-clinical directoratesAdditional Information:10 P.A'sPrestigious NHS TrustA well supported & friendly teamMust have GMC RegistrationOutstanding Schools within public and private sectorsThis is a Consultant in Gastro vacancy.
