We’re working with a well-established local business in Great Yarmouth who are seeking a skilled Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage their day-to-day finance function on a part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and flexible hours – ideal for an experienced finance professional looking for a role that fits around other commitments.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day accounting, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth cashflow.
Key duties include:
*
Managing bookkeeping across sales, purchases, and reconciliations
*
Preparing monthly management accounts and cashflow updates
*
Processing supplier payments, invoices and VAT returns
*
Supporting budgeting and cost control
*
Liaising with external accountants at year-end
About You
*
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (Xero, QuickBooks or Sage)
*
Solid knowledge of double-entry accounting, VAT and UK financial processes
*
AAT qualified or qualified by experience (ACCA/CIMA advantageous)
*
Organised, reliable and able to work independently
