We focus on providing information, advice, support and sign‑posting all aimed at encouraging people to improve their lives, both while in custody and upon transitioning back into the community. Role Overview The Jigsaw Visitors’ Centre is looking to appoint someone to provide family support in the Visitors Centre through welcoming visitors, providing face‑to‑face support, and providing information for first‑time visitors, working with children in the play area in the Visits Hall, helping with the organisation of other family events within HMP Wealstun and supporting other areas of the family services delivery when required. Responsibilities Welcome visitors and provide initial support and information. Deliver face‑to‑face support to families during visits. Provide guidance to first‑time visitors regarding procedures and expectations. Engage with children in the play area of the Visits Hall. Assist in organising family events within HMP Wealstun. Support other areas of family services delivery as required.
