Job Description Summary Job Description Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalency. 1 year manufacturing experience. Intermediate understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation. • Ability and willingness to use basic hand tools (crimpers, soldering iron, wire strippers, brazing equipment, etc.) and measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, rulers, etc.) Ability and willingness to operate high temperature ovens and furnaces. Ability and willingness to pass Visual Acuity Exam as necessary. Ability and willingness to obtain Solder, Braze, and Electro-Static discharge certification as required Essential Functions & Responsibilities Assemble parts according to process sheet/print instructions. Perform electrical, mechanical, magnetic testing as required (i.e. – dielectric, meggar, hipot, etc.) Perform in-process hi-pot testing; Perform basic set up of fixtures. Perform vapor blasting as required; Perform inventory counts and verification. Assist with proto‑type or first‑time builds with guidance from higher level employees. Assist Engineering and/or Team in development and/or improvement of layout procedures and process sheets. Review expiration date of materials to ensure materials & equipment to ensure all are current. Proactively work to improve efficiency and quality of products; Good housekeeping skills. Possess inspection stamp as required; Utilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety procedures. Crosstrain other employees as needed based upon knowledge and experience. Compliantly complete all written and/or electronic labor tracking documentation. Perform basic Oracle transactions as required. Report problems to appropriate resource and/or Coach. Keep all shift operators informed on special problems involving operation or set up. Communicate with team to ensure all team members are aware of new processes and/or issues. May interact with internal cross‑functional teams (i.e. – planning) Perform troubleshooting responsibilities. Participate in and support team initiatives. Utilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety procedures per position requirements. Understand and abide by the GE Behaviors. Other duties as assigned. Desired Qualifications 1-3 years manufacturing experience Assembly, solder experience and/or electronics manufacturing experience. Experience in a self‑directed teaming environment; Familiarity with 5S & lean manufacturing knowledge. Physical Demands Ability to continuously use hands and fingers in repetition Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, twist, crouch, squat, climb, and/or balance. • Ability to continuously sit; ability to occasionally lift to 20 lbs.; ability to push/pull up to 22 lbs. *All job descriptions are subject to change and/or update. The pay for this position is $21.60/hour. plus 10% shift difference. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close 12/31/25.
