This is a great opportunity to take on a key role in delivering infrastructure design projects within a supportive and forward‑thinking environment. The Role You’ll be involved in the design and coordination of civil engineering elements including highways, drainage, and external works. The position offers a strong balance of technical design, project delivery, and client interaction within a consultancy that values collaboration and professional growth. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver highways, drainage, and external works for residential and commercial developments. Prepare and review designs in accordance with Section 278, 38, 104, and 106 agreements. Produce detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage (InfoDrainage). Undertake SuDS design, ground modelling, and earthworks analysis. Coordinate with project teams, local authorities, and clients to ensure technical accuracy and timely delivery. Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians where required. Requirements Degree‑qualified Civil Engineer (BEng/MEng or equivalent). 3–7 years’ experience in highways and drainage design within a UK consultancy. Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage (InfoDrainage). Strong understanding of SuDS, DMRB, and local authority standards. Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
