Join us and be part of a team that's not just imagining a greener future but actively building it.Senior Commercial Contract ManagerHere’s what you’ll be doingAs a Senior Commercial Contract Manager, you will lead a team of commercial contract managers fulfilling and developing commercial contractual requirements for our EIS in-life customer base. The Senior Commercial Manager will be a key interface with our in-life clients, ensuring that E.ON fulfil its commercial obligations under contract, mitigating risk and optimising value where possible. The role will play an integral part in the EIS customer journey to help drive continuous commercial improvement and growth for our business development.Key responsibilitiesDirect and inspire a team of skilled commercial contract managers, ensuring the efficient delivery of customer contracts across the EIS in-life business.Act as the primary point of contact for our in-life clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering strong, successful partnerships.Supervise the renewal process for existing contracts, ensuring continuity, and leveraging opportunities for contract enhancements and extensions.Partner closely with Sales and Operations teams to synchronise commercial and operational flows, shape customer solutions proposals, and identify opportunities to unlock and protect future value, including cross-business initiatives.Identify and drive opportunities for commercial optimisation and risk mitigation within the existing customer base.Advocate best practices in commercial management and forecasting using proven and innovative tools, models, techniques, and knowledge.Lead contractual and commercial negotiations to ensure optimal outcomes for customers and E.ON.Drive continuous internal process improvements to foster business growth and effectively utilise data to meet customer requirements.Stay informed about industry legislation, regulations, and market trends, understanding their impact on the operational business and EIS contractual obligations.What we need from youDemonstrated experience in managing and leading a team of specialists to achieve outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.Extensive experience in commercial and contract management across a diverse portfolio of customers and solutions.Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively.Proven ability to identify and drive commercial opportunities and implement risk mitigation strategies.Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across multiple teams, ensuring alignment of commercial and operational flows.Experience in driving change through improved ways of working and continuous improvement initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and efficiency.It would be great if you hadFinancial or legal experienceAn understanding of the Energy Infrastructure Solutions businessAn understanding of energy markets, policy and regulationHere’s what you need to knowAward-Winning Workplace - We’re proud to be named a Sunday Times Best Place to Work 2025 and the Best Place to Work for 16-34-year-olds.Outstanding Benefits - Enjoy 26 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous pension, life cover, bonus opportunities, and access to 20 flexible benefits with tax / NI savings.Flexible & Family-Friendly - Our industry-leading hybrid and family-friendly policies earned us double recognition at the Personnel Today Awards 2024.
